- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for a commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplem ented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cl auses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18 dated 30 June 2007 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Supplement, current to DCN 20070531. The awarded contract will be firm fixed price. This procurement is for sm all business set aside only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333315 with a size standard of 500. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https ://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html. The proposal shall consist of Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). CLIN 0001, Quantity 40, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: weight platform, 550lbs. CLIN 0002, Quantity 60, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: weight pla tform, 700lbs., and CLIN 0003, Qunantity 3, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: sixteen foot steel airdrop platform. CLIN 0004, Quantity 3, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: eight foot steel airdrop platforms. Evaluation of quotes will be based on the follow ing criterian, which is listed in order of importances. Number (1) is slightly more imorpant than (2). Both are significantly more important than cost. Abilty to meet specifications of drawings, (2) best delivery time, and (3) cost. Offers must contact Er ik Reta at erik.reta@yuma.army.mil to obtain a copy of the minimum drawing specifications. All quotes shall include transportation costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma AZ 85365. Vendors that are subject to the Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax must include that cost in their quotes. The attached drawing specifications are set forth as Governments minimum requirements for this aquistion. In order to obtain the required drawing specifications you must contact Erik Reta by email. Offerors shall account for an costs associated with accepting credit card payment in their proposal. All proposals shall be clearly marked with RFQ number W9124R07T1110 and emailed to erik.reta@us.army.mil or sent by facsimile to 928-328-6849 no later than Noon MST, 22 Aug 200 7. The deadline for technical questions is 9AM MST, 20 Aug 2007. In addition, all questions concerning this requirement must be emailed at erik.reta@us.army.mil or faxed to 928 328 6849, attention Erik Reta. All offerors must either be register actively i n ORCA or furnish Certifications and representations. Offers that fail to furnish required representations as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
