Description

The above referenced solicitation is hereby amended to correct an administrative error with respect to a technical change incorporated under Amendment 0001. The due date for quotations, August 23, 2007, at 3:30 PM Eastern Time, remains unchanged. The solicitation is hereby amended to correct the text of Salient Characteristic 2 with respect to the count rate. SALIENT CHARACTERISTIC 2. Change output count rate (OCR) to input count rate (ICR). Salient Characteristic 2 is hereby changed to read as follows: "2. Each SDD detector element must be capable of performing with a resolution of 133 eV (full peak width at half peak intensity, FWHM at Mn K alpha, 5895 eV) or better with a peaking time constant that permits an input count rate (ICR) of at least 100,000 counts per second (cps); The peak width measured at FWHM at Mn K alpha must be constant within plus or minus 5 eV up to a deadtime of 60 percent..."
