- Description
- The US Forest Service, Wayne National Forest, has a requirement to establish an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity, multi-year supply contract for purchase and delivery of various aggregates, stone, rip-rap and shot rock. Delivery locations are throughout the Athens Ranger District and the Ironton Ranger District. The contractor is to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and incidentals necessary to supply aggregates, stone, rip-rap and shot rock to the FS at the locations and under the conditions specified in the solicitation. The requirement will be awarded as a fixed price multi-year contract with a base period of one year and four one-year option periods. The maximum value for the base year and each option period is $350,000.00 per year with a maximum value for the base and all option years of $1,750,000.00. The government may make multiple awards with a minimum of one award per ranger district. Bids may be submitted for the Athens Ranger District, the Ironton Ranger District, or both Ranger Districts. The requirement is being solicited following Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13.5 ? TEST PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN COMMERCIAL ITEMS. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside. The NAICS is 212312 with a small business size of 500 Employees. This solicitation will ONLY be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) website: http://www.eps.gov/. It is anticipated that the requirement documents will be uploaded on-or-about August 21, 2007. Copies of the specifications, drawings and wage rates will be uploaded to FEDBIZOPPS along with the solicitation document. Offers will be due no later than 3:00 local time on September 10, 2007. A pre-solicitation meeting will not be scheduled.
