- Description
- An oral request for quotations will be solicited on an unrestricted basis for the following item: Repair Kit, 2-Man Combat Tent, NSN: 8340-01-462-6490. Quantity: 1200 each. Two deliveries are expected, required delivery beginning one hundred twenty (120) days after date of award and every thirty (30) days thereafter. The destinations for subject items are: SG 2 - Defense Distribution Depot, Barstow, CA AN 5 ? Defense Distribution Depot, New Cumberland, PA Submittal of First Article is required sixty (60) days after date of award. Specifications or other applicable documents, can be obtained by contacting Ricardo P?rez by e-mail at ricardo.perez@dla.mil or via FAX at 215-737-3276. Applicable documents will be available for fifteen (15) days until September 4, 2007. Oral quotations will be requested after September 4, 2007. DFARS clause 252.211-7006 ?Radio Frequency Identification? applies to this solicitation. The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as ?The Berry Amendment?) impose restrictions on the DoD?s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
