Description
THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO PROVIDE THE TWO ATTACHMENTS REFRENCED IN THE SYNOPSIS POSTED ON 18 APRIL 2007 AS FOLLOWS: ATTACHMENT 1: STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) Site Preparation for Temporary Facility 46TS Administration Building 85T Phase I 1. SCOPE. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the effort required for acquiring a (36) month operational lease for commercial-off-the-shelf, general purpose, temporary, modular facilities to be used for an interim administrative office space ,Eglin Air Force Base, FL. 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-610-01N Design: Administration Facilities Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 4-010-01 Design: ATFP Minimum Requirements for Relocatable and Temporary Facilities Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-600-01 Fire Protection Engineering for Facilities Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-410-01FA Design: Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 3-520-01 Interior Electrical Systems & 3-501-03N Electrical Engineering Preliminary Considerations American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRE) Standard 62.1-2004, Ventilation Indoor Air Quality Uniform Building Code (UBC) International Building Codes (IBC), (including building, mechanical, plumbing, fire prevention) National Electric Code (NEC) Life Safety Code National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 10, 13, 17, 70, 101 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE ) 7.98 American with Disabilities Act (ADA) 3. REQUIREMENTS. 3.1 Program Management. The contractor shall provide overall program management and administrative support to ensure that the requirements of the contract are accomplished. 3.2 ACQUIRING THE FACILITY. 3.2.1 Leasing. For this operational lease, the contractor will deliver all necessary materials, transport and assemble the buildings, perform regular and emergency maintenance by warranty, and remove the structure at the end of the lease term. The structures remain the property of the contractor. The Contractor will hook up utilities. The contractor will identify required locations of utility stub outs on submittals. 3.2.2 Site location. The contractor shall deliver the re-locatable building to Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. 3.2.3 Period of Performance. Base period is (36) months: (1) year lease with two (1) year lease options 3.2.4 Floor Plans. The contractor shall provide plans for the building, see Section 3.3.1 Submittals. 3.2.5 Compliance. The contractor must meet Eglin’s Architectural Compatibility Plan (ACP), Force Protection/Antiterrorism, Accessibility, Safety, Seismic, Environmental, and Construction codes and standards and ALL codes listed in section 2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS. 3.2.6 Assembly. The contractor shall assemble, with government oversight, prior to shipping, to demonstrate to the government that the building fits together properly. 3.2.7 Coordination. The contractor will coordinate with Civil Engineers to gain entry and access to the Base. The contractor will provide (3) sets of site preparation instructions, final assembly instructions and a final set of floor plans for the facility to Civil Engineering for review and approval. 3.3 FACILITY REQUIREMENTS 3.3.1 Submittals. The contractor shall The contractor shall submit for review and approval complete construction documents, design calculations, and any other pertinent technical data prior to construction. Construction documents shall include as a minimum the following: certification of meeting current Building Officials and International Building Code (IBC) referenced standards; detailed site plans showing locations of all required structures, site plans, foundation plans, elevations, fully dimensioned floor plans, chassis framing plans, roof framing plans, and finish schedules; and complete electrical and mechanical plans, diagrams, details and schedules.
