- Description: The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for 165 Magnatek Motor Universal Electric Motors, Single Shaft, Model #CD3E003N, and 720 Magnetek Motor Universal Electric Motors, Double Shaft, Model #DE3E188N, Brand Name or Equal. The motors must fit Air Therm Fan coil units, Models 031-1r-cf and 041-21-cf, respectively, with no modifications needed to motors or fan coil units. The motors are to be delivered F.O.B. destination to SSA, Operations Building Loading Dock, 6401 Security Blvd., Baltimore, MD 21235-0001 between the hours of 7:30am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday, within 30 days of contract award. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE: This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 335312 and the associated small business size is 500 employees for Non-Manufacturers. SSA anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for this requirement. This requirement will be procured utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 14, 2007. The RFQ will be issued under solicitation number SSA-RFQ-07-1793.
