- The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is seeking potential sources to support the Public Affairs Directorate with conference exhibit support services for venues for fiscal years 2008 through 2012. This support will consist of producing and maintaining exhibits for MDA events that will illustrate and communicate the major milestones and strategic objectives of the Ballistic Missile Defense System's capabilities to various domestic and international audiences through conferences, symposiums, air shows and meetings. Minimal Qualifications: - SECRET clearance at contract award (interim clearances are not acceptable); - Knowledge and experience with Missile Defense; - Recent and relevant experience within the last three years in the following areas: a) Exhibit planning and public affairs/public relations; b) Developing exhibit strategies; c) On-site event support; d) International and domestic shipping techniques and options, electrical standards and customs requirements; and e) Experience in managing multiple exhibit configurations. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) category for this requirement is 541613, Marketing Consulting Services, with a size standard of $6.5 million. In accordance with FAR Part 19.501, the Government reserves the right to solicit only small businesses if a sufficient number are determined to possess the required capabilities. Contractors who qualify under NAICS 541613, Marketing Consulting Services, are invited to submit to the contracting office as early as possible, but no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 29, 2007, a maximum of a three page capability statement summarizing corporate strengths relating to the following criteria: 1) Qualifications and capabilities of your staff to perform the type of work specified above and in the Statement of Work (SOW); 2) your firm's specific related past/current DoD/Federal type of work specified above and in the SOW. All experience submitted must be recent and relevant; 3) your firm's management approach in regards to managing, retaining and replacing staff, authority, responsibilities and quality control and 4) your firm's business size and socio-economic status. If planning to team or subcontract, identify the firm(s) and their size status. Be sure to segregate this information on the Capability Statement by firm. Provide one primary and one alternate point of contact within your firm including name, telephone number and email address for each individual. A draft SOW can be found at the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) website http://www.fedteds.gov using the solicitation number HQ0006-07-R-0016. Businesses must register with the FedTeDS site in order to access this information. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice.
