- Description
- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), intends to award a sole source firm fixed price (FFP) type purchase order to Trimble Navigation Limited, 935 Stewart Dr, Sunnyvale, CA to investigate and debug specific engineering issues with previously procured Global Positioning System (GPS) Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Receiver Cards (GVRC). The GVRC was manufactured by Trimble. The proposed purchase order is for 4 months of investigation and development of a corrective software release. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Responses to this notice of intent to award to Trimble Navigation Limited should be submitted to Fred Renz, Contracting Officer, Code 02A2-D, Building OT4, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, 4301 Pacific Hwy., San Diego, CA 92110-3127.
