Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation serves as a Request For Quotations for meals i n the Dugway, Utah area. This solicitation document incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through FAC 2005-18. The NAICS code applicable to this acquisition is 722320, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. This purchase order is to provide hot Lunch meals, Dinner Meals, Early Dinner Meals, and Late Dinner Meals for 27 personnel each meal setting beginning 20 August through 5 October 2007as outlined in the schedule below. Offerors shall provide hot meals as two times per day in mermit food containers or approved equivalent food safe containers for hot and cold food items. Offerorer shall provide hot meals two (2) times per day as outlined below on the dates and times outline in the below schedule; Lunch - 20 August 2007  11:00 AM MST  Community Club Dugway Proving, UT. Dinner - 20 August 2007  4:00 AM MST  Community Club Dugway Proving, UT. Lunch - 21  22 Aug 2007, 11:00 AM, MST Dinner - 21 - 22 Aug 2007, 4:30 PM, MST Early Dinner - 23-24 Aug, 27-28 Sep, 4-7 Sep, 10-14 Sep, 17-21 Sep, 24-28 Sep, and 1-5 Oct 2007, delivery time to Ditto Diner, 3:30 PM MST,. Late Dinner  23-24 Aug, 27-28 Sep, 4-7 Sep, 10-14 Sep, 17-21 Sep, 24-28 Sep, and 1-5 Oct 2007 delivery time to Ditto Diner 10:00 PM MST. Dinner meals shall consist of one (1) meat item (example - pork chop, chicken breast, or roast beef), one (1) starch (example - potatoes or rice), a vegetable, a desert and choice of cold beverage (example - Gatorade, punch, and bottled water). Deliver th e meals in a manner that will maintain the foods temperature, hot foods should be kept hot (140F or higher) for no longer than two (2) hours, and cold foods should be kept cold (40F or lower). Meals are to be delivered to Ditto Diner on Dugway. Food mus t be transported using Mermites containers or equivalent to maintain temperature to the actual meal site. Offeror shall include disposable plates, cups, plastic ware, utensils, and condiments for each meal. . The Government reserves the right to shift dat es and/or cancel completely at no additional cost to the Government. The Government reserves the right to cancel if meals are unsatisfactory at no additional cost to the Government. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price if determined to be the best value to the Government. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation. The following clauses & provisions are incorporated and will remain in full effect in any result ant award. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract T erms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated in full text with the following clauses in paragraph (b) and (c) checked as applicable: 52.203-6; 52.222-21; 52.222-26; 52.222-35; 52.222-36; 52.222-37; 52.232-33.
