Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this procurement is W912L107T5030 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Change Notice (DCN) 2007-0314 and Army Acquisition Circular (AAC)October 2001 Conformed through 22 May 2007. For informational purposes the North American Industry Classification System code is 333924, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed priced contract. Contract will consist of one (1) line item. CLIN 0001: Four (4) each trail er mounted articulating boom lift, New Genie Trailer Mounted Boom Lift, Model # TZ-34/20 OR EQUAL. SPECIFICATIONS: Maximum working height of approximately 40-feet. The lift shall be electrically powered and able to use a standard 120-volts AC, single-pha se receptacle/outlet. The lift shall be equipped with hydraulic outriggers, automatic leveling system, parking breaks, dual pneumatic jockey wheels, surge brakes, and tow hitch with two inch coupler. The lift shall also have tilt alarm/sensor, all necessar y electrical wiring to the platform, proportional speed control system and hour meter. TERMS OF DELIVERY: Quotation shall include all freight delivery costs for FOB destination for one (1)each delivered to each of following four (4) locations: Camp Bowie Training Center, 5611 FM 45 South, Brownwood, Texas 76801; Camp Maxey Training Center, 6351 US Hwy 271N, Powderly, TX 75473; Fort Wolters Training Center, 7705 Wagner, Mineral Wells, TX 76067; Camp Swift Training Center, 1705 Hwy 95N Unit B, Bastrop, TX 78 602. CONTRACTING PROCEDURES: The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this Request for Quotation to the technically acceptable, responsive, responsible offeror whose quotation is determined to be the most advantageous to the government, p rice and other factors considered. SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS: 1. Offeror must ensure the provision FAR 52.212-3 ALT I, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Nov 2006) (this must be completed on http://orca.bpn.gov), DFARS 252.212-7000 , Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2005), and DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance Payment Program Certificate (Jun 2005) are included with the quotation. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the Internet, http s://farsite.hill.af.mil or http://www.arnet.far.gov. 2. If submitting an equal product in place of Model # TZ-34/20, submit extended item description to include specifications for technical comparison, 3. Vendors shall register on Central Contactor Regist ration (CCR) and provide their company Cage Code on their quote, 4. Include delivery date and 5. Tax Identification Number.
