- Description
- The government provided Addendum No. 2 which referenced ?sheet FP 101 ? Auditorium 139C. Remove the four pairs of exterior doors on the east and west sides. Replace with new aluminum doors ? Pair 3'-0" x 7'-0". Match new door from 139C phase 2 (Full glass) cleaning the existing glazing, store front (inside & out) and aluminum flashing. The government has also provided specifications in the Addendum 2 for the contractor to meet these requirements. Our subcontractor (Best Glass) has made a site visit in which he has discovered that the specifications call for a concealed closure and the Amendment 2 requires the contractor to match the existing closure units in the building. This does not meet the new Section 08120 specifications. Please advise. The intent is to have concealed closers.Replace the storefront / sidelight , frame along with the w/ 1" insulated glazing and the doors. On 3A ? 101, Enlarge Alcove Plan for ?Comm. 110a? has a conflict between the detail on 3A ? 101 and 3MH ? 401. Please review the conflict. 1. 3A ? 101, Door/Frame 110a & 110b Vs 3MH ? 401, single door and frame. 2. Room size 3A ? 101, 4'-0" x 13'-10" Vs 3MH ? 401, 4'-0" x 9'-10". Please verify as to what detail that the contractor will construct ?Comm. 110a? by? Please advise. The layout on 3A-101is how the area shall be constructed.On 3MH - 402 add note to coordinate mech.w this layout and to clear stair.
