- Description
- Provide personnel, equipment tools, materials management and associated items and services to package, load , transport to and treat by incineration at a facility licensed under local, state, and federal laws, disposal, manifesting and tracking of regulated medical waste from the VA Medical Center, Birmingham, and the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), in Oxford, Huntsville, Sheffield, Madison, Gadsden, Jasper, and Bessemer, AL. Package and transport waste to incineration facility in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFQ will be advertised on or about August 17, 2007 as a 100% Services Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-a-side solicitation with a NAICS Code of 562211 and the size standard of $11.5M. This will be a base year with four (4) option year procurement. The range of this solicitation is between $30,000 and $46,000.00 for the base year.
