- The Alexandria VA Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, is conducting this Sources Sought search to locate a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that can supply medical furniture items needed for the medical center. All items to be provided must be equal to or better than the items requested. If quoting items other than the exact items requested, a full detail description must be provided so an evaluating team will be able to determine product quoted is in fact equal to or better than the requested items. Quantity needed: 12 This procurement is being conducted in accordance Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items as contained in Title VIII of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act of 1994 (Public Law 103-355). NAICS code for this procurement is 423450-a business is classified as large when total number of employees exceed 100. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification the Contracting Office within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
