- The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services for adult male offenders residing in the metropolitan counties of northern Virginia. Any proposed facility must be located within the following counties and cities in northern Virginia: Fairfax County, Arlington County, City of Alexandria, Prince William County, Stafford County, City of Fredericksburg, Loudon County and Culpepper County. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, ?Residential Reentry Center (RRC), as revised by the CCB: Revision 1 - December 2000, Revision 2 - August 2001, Revision 3 - November 2001, Revision 4 - May 2002, Revision 5 - October 2003, Revision 6 - May 2005, Revision 7 - December 2005, Revision 8 - June 2006, and Revision 9 - August 2006.? This is a firm-fixed unit price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contract. The services are estimated to be 100% male. The estimated number of inmate days is 18,250 minimum/32,850 maximum for the initial two-year Base Period; Option Year 1 is 9,125 minimum/16,425 maximum; Option Year 2 is 9,150 minimum/16,470 maximum; and Option Year 3 is 9,125 minimum/16,425 maximum. The solicitation will be available on or after September 15, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of RFP200-0990-MA will be on or about November 14, 2007. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted.
