- Description
- Lightning Protection Systems: Removal and replacement of lightning protection systems on three fire lookouts on the Umpqua National Forest. This project includes separately priced option items for two additional lookouts. Estimated start work is October, 2007 and must be completed by November 30, 2008. Work shall include removal of all existing, unused wire and equipment, including radio communications wire and equipment and unused lightning protection system wire and devices and replacement of lightning protection systems. This is a Request for Proposals requiring completion of a Questionnaire, detailed technical proposals are not required. Award evaluation criteria include technical capability specific to lightning protection system replacement and past performance history in addition to price, award may be made without discussions. The project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Solicitation copies will be posted on or about 7/25/2007. Modification to original Synopsis establishing response date.
