- CLOSING DATE CHANGED TO SEPTEMBER 10, 2007, CLOSE OF BUSINESS. Salmon La Sac Bridge Replacement-The purpose of this project is to remove the existing steel girder road bridge and replace with a new single-lane prestressed concrete road bridge. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the required bridge work and minor road realignment on Forest Road 4316 at MP.0.1 known as Salmon La Sac Bridge. The project is located on the Cle Elum Ranger District, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, Kittitas County, Washington The project site is located northwest of Cle Elum, Washington and can be accessed by traveling north off Interstate 90 at exits 80 or 85 to Roslyn, WA, then following signs to the Salmon La Sac Campground (approximately 18 miles northwest from Interstate 90 on Highway 903). The bridge is located less than one-quarter mile before the entrance to the campground. The performance period will be 450 calendar days. This project is estimated to range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about July 31, 2007. A bid bond (20 percent) is required with offer. Performance and payment bonds (100 percent each) will be required after award. Note: Registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) data base is required prior to award, http://www.ccr.gov or phone 1-888-227-2423. All contractors must complete the electronic version of the Representations and Certifications (Section K in Solicitation) in the ORCA system, http://www.bpn.gov, click on the Online Reps and Certs Application. This project is not set aside for small business concerns.
