Description
This project provides for the remodel of an existing 6,928 square foot (SF) building and addition of a 1,426 SF sallyport for a 25-agent 8,280 SF border patrol station (BPS) on a 2.5 acre site at Curlew, Washington. The facility will include site f encing and gates, parking and access drives, storage, office space, processing, detention space and holding rooms, a conference room, muster room, training/exercise area, locker room and restroom facilities. Supporting facilities requirements include secu rity, communications, emergency power, EMCS, access and egress controls, security controls, exit lighting and security lighting, and other equipment. The estimated project value is $5 to $10 million. Project is open to both large and small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236210 with a size standard of $31 million. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $31 million. Issue of this solicitation will be via FedT eDs: www.fedteds.gov, in electronic format only. No disks or hard copy will be available. Follow the registration procedures at this site and www.fedteds.gov to receive notification of solicitation/amendment posting. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regu lations (FAR), the solicitation will be available for download no earlier than 15 days following the posting of this synopsis; therefore the release date of the solicitation is no earlier than 10 May, 2007. Pursuant to FAR, the response date (bid due dat e) of the solicitation is no earlier than 30 days from the date of the solicitation release date; therefore, using 10 May 2007 as the approximate solicitation release date, the bid opening date will be no earlier than 11 June 2007. Note that all dates are approximate. There is no technical information available until the issue of the solicitation via the Internet.
