- Description
- Eglin AFB, FL has a requirement for a Fire Alarm System and Detection System, located in Building 374, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The NAICS code is 238210 with a size of standard of $13M. The acquisition is unrestricted. This is a Performance Price Trade Off acquisition and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with Far 15.3. The government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. This project includes but not limited to the following: furnish all labor, equipment and materials to accomplish this project for the Fire Alarm and Detection System, Eglin AFB FL. Installation of the new fire alarm and detection system shall be coordinated with removal of existing fire alarm and detection system, as indicated on the contract drawings. The performance period is 240 calendar days. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. The work is located at Eglin AFB FL. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System (www.fbo.gov) on or about 22 Mar 2007. The ESTIMATED PROPOSAL DUE DATE IS 5 April 2007. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. Prospective contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractors Registration and Online Representations and Certifications Application (orca.bpn.gov) data base prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR or ORCA database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS Number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
