- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a solicitation seeking quotations for four flexible fuel utility vehicles. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, Tiger Truck LLC. Part Numbers 338600AC (1 each) Star Creq Cab FFV w/AC, 338400AC (1 each) Star X-Cab FFV w/AC and 338800AC (2 each) Star FFV Scissor Lift Truck w/AC. Delivery is FOB destination, 45 days after contract award. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any additional information and documents on this requirement will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps site for release of this solicitation, amendments and all other documents relative to this solicitation. Requests for paper copies will not be honored. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html database prior to award of any contract. SSA anticipates release of the Request for Quoatation (SSA-RFQ-07-1771) on or about August 15, 2007. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to bridget.hamel@ssa.gov.
