Description
THIS IS NOT A SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFP IS OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMAL LBUSINESS AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado is requesting quotes from qualified and eligible firms capable of furnishing all labor, material supplies and equipment necessary to rehabilitate several artesian wells and install flow restricters at the San Luis Valley NWR Complex. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The site for the well rehabilitation is the San Luis Valley National Wildlife Refuge Complex (Alamosa, Rio Grande and Saguache counties) headquartered in Alamosa, Colorado. Prospective offerors may inspect the site by making arrangements with the Project Leader, Clark Dirks at Alamosa National Wildlife Refuget, Alamosa, Colorado. Telephone number (719) 589-4021. B. Contractors are urged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions and equipment. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The total performance is 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code 237110 and small business size standard is $31 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to available electronically on/or about August 14, 2007 with an anticipated closing date of September 4, 2007. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once available for issuance.
