- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for a used truck and equipment and is prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 101817Q635 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). RFQ 101817Q635 may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-18. This is a Set Aside for Small Business. The NAICS is 532120. The small business size standard is 23.5 million. This RFQ will be awarded upon best value. The statement of work for these services is as follows: GENERAL: 1996 Western Star model 496F used truck with frame shortened and belly dump 1992 Ranco or approved equal. Truck is 13 speed with O/D, Engine: Detroit, Engine HP: 470, Front axle: 12000, Rear axle: 40000, Rear axle ratio: 3:73, Tires 11R22.5, Condition: good, Series 60 430/470, Jakes RTLO167713A, Air Susp., 260 inch wheel base, all aluminum wheels, dual exhaust, dual stainless steel air cleaners, dual horns, dual 80 gallon fuel tanks, air slide 5th wheel, chrome bumper with center tow pin, tilt-Tlspc column. Belly Dump is a 1992 Ranco with the following specs: Model: 3-axle belly dump, Frame: steel, Suspension: spring, Brakes: air, Coupler: Kingpin, Legs: Drop Down, Wheels: aluminum, Condition: good, tires; 425/65R22.5, 42 foot by 96 inches, push block, switch gate, 18 inch pin, 8 foot axle spread. PLACE/DELIVERY AND PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: FOB destination to McNary National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), 64 Maple Street, Burbank, Washington 99323. The telephone number (509) 545-8588.
