- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Document number W81NTE71248501 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisit ion Circular 2005-18, dated June 30, 2007. It is the contractors responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The associated North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 334510 and the size standard is 500 employees. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) : 0001, quantity 1 each, CytoVision Spot AX Automatic Spot Counting System (or equal); to include CytoVision FISH Software Module, CytoVision Spot AX Software Module, CytoVision Automatic Metaphase Finding Software Module, CytoVision Flexible Karyotyping Software Module, CytoVision CGH Software Module, CytoVision M-FISH Software Module, Jai CV-M4+ Megapixel Digital Camera & Software Interface, Prior 8 Bay Automated Stage, Flat Panel Image Monitor, DVD RAM Archival Devise, C ytoVision Configured HP dc7600 3.2GHz P4, Automated Olympus BX-61 Fluorescent and Brightfield Microscope, and Ricoh Aficio Laser Printer. Quoted prices shall also include on-site installation and user training and comprehensive one-year warranty. Intere sted firms shall comply with FAR clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, if quoting other than the brand name products. Clause 52.211-6 and other clauses cited throughout this solicitation can be viewed by accessing website http://farsite.hill.af.mil. Quot es shall include all shipping and handling charges (FOB Destination) for delivery to Brooke Army Medical Center, Building 3600, 3851 Roger Brooke Drive, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234-6200. Delivery is required by 30 Sep 07. The provision at 52.212-1, Instru ctions to Offerors Commercial applies to this acquisition with the following addenda: All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) prior to receiving an award; see website www.ccr.gov for details on CCR. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible fir m whose quote is lowest priced technically acceptable. Technical acceptability is compliance with the requirements of FAR clause 52.211-6, if quoting an equal product.
