- The previous synopsis is amended to incorporate the following changes: (1) Add Bi-Cone Ku-Band Tx/Rx antenna; and (2) Increase quantity from 24 each to 26 each for all six items. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) located at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama has a requirement to procure on a sole source basis miscellaneous hardware to support the manned/unmanned teaming imitative. Hardware includes 26 each of th e following six (6) items: (1) mini-TCDL modem; (2) multi-band receiver; (3) C/L band ruggedized antenna; (4) omni button antenna; (5) Ku-band 15 watt RFE; and (6) Bi-Cone Ku-Band Tx/Rx antenna. These items are sole source to L-3 Communications, 640 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. All responsible sources may submit a quote to the e-mail address in this notice. All submissions must be received by 20 Aug 07. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requiremen t or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this sy nopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered sol ely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
