- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the OFC Chief of Public Affairs, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) Only one responsible source and no other suppli es or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Right Now Technologies., 12020 Sunrise Valley Drive Reston, VA 20191 to provide the Army with the ability to automate public queries from both the email and phone lines. This application allows the Army to automate answers so the public can navigate to an answer prior to asking a question via the web. This system also handles all phone queries and will automatically put them into the system for action. Additionally, this is the same software DOD uses th erefore it enables the Army to interface with DOD and work queries together. This program will also play an important role in strategic communications. When a communications crisis happens the system can route questions germane to that issue so the user can focus on those questions. Additionally, the system can provide a report used to evaluate public interest in the subject. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of one year. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals.
