Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued at this site. The solicitation number is W91WAW-07-R-0105 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The Contracting Center of Excellence, on behalf of the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (ADUSD for Supply Chain Integration (SCI), intends to procure personnel, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to perform Supply Chain Management Support. This procurement will be fully competitive. Responses shall be in accordance with the RFP W91WAW-07-R-0105 CLIN 0001 thru 3012. The Period of Performance will be One Base period of Eight (8) Months plus Three (3) Twelve Month Option Periods. Delivery will be to the designated address in the RFP. Delivery will be FOB Destination. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors  Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications  Commercial Items (note: as of 1 January 2005, offerors are required to enter t heir representations and certifications on line at http://orca.bpn.gov); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation  Commercial Items. Contract evaluation and subsequent award shall be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal to include all CLINs. The Req uest for Proposal can be obtained from the CCE Homepage at: http//dccw.hqda.pentagon.mil/services/RFP1.asp, Titled: Supply Chain Management Initiative. Responses to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation must be signed, dated, and received via electronic mail or fax by 28 August 2007 no later than 1:00PM Eastern Time at the Contracting Center of Excellence, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC 20310-5200. Re sponses should be marked with the solicitation number and addressed to Gregory E. Young, Contract Specialist. Vendors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with CC R by calling 1-800-334-3414 or register on line at http://www.CCR.gov No information, questions concerning this RFP or request for clarifications will be provided in response to telephone calls.
