- This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for a SOLE SOURCE award to Zodiac Data Systems Inc., Enertec Division, for 12 each, Media Canister Adapters and 4 each, Receptable Docking Stations for the Media Canister Adapters. The media canister adapter is used to connect RMMs (Removable Media Modules for the A-10C Digital Video Airborne Data Recorder System) to the MPS (the A-10 Mission Planning System) to view recorded channels of video captured during every sortie. The four canister receptacles are used to view the data from four A-10s simultaneously. CLINS will include 12 ea, Media Canister Adapter, and 4 ea, Receptacle Docking Station. Nellis Air Force Base, NV intends to award a Sole Source award to Zodiac Data Systems, Inc., Enertec Division, for the above items. **PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the items as detailed above. Responses may be sent via e-mail to rachelle.luna@nellis.af.mil, or mailed to 99th Contracting Squadron ATTN: Rachelle Luna/LGCB3, 5865 Swaab Blvd, Bldg 588, Nellis AFB NV 89191-7063. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written responses by Close of Business (COB), 21 Aug 07, a Sole Source contract with Zodiac Data Systems, Inc., Enertec Division, will be issued.
