- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration intends to exercise an option, with multiple changes to the original statement of work (SOW), under Contract DTFA01-02-C-00168. The approved source under this contract is Northrop-Grumman ES Denro Systems. These changes include: Adding national maintenance services for the Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch (ETVS), Digital Voice Recording System (DVRS) and the Small Tower Voice Switch (STVS). These systems, manufactured by Northrop Grumman Corporation, provide voice communications switching in Air Traffic Control Facilities and Automated Flight Service Station facilities. The full scope of the maintenance requirements includes requirements for a logistics and component repair service; provision for on-site Integrated Communications Switching System (ICSS) and associated ATS spares; depot-level Rapid Deployment Voice Switching spares (RDVS); provision for consumable items and materials; exchange and repair service; RDVS test bed system; maintenance engineering services; system moves/changes/and relocation tasks; system position expansion task; and system functional enhancement task. The period of performance for this option year (Option Year 5) will be shortened from one year to six months, with the remaining six month being held in abeyance for use at a later period (Option Year 7), if necessary. Option Year Six will remain 12 months and provisions for an additional 12 months (Option Year Seven) will be added to the contract. The period of performance under this contract will be revised as follow: Option Year 5 28 September 2007 through 27 March 2008 Option Year 6 28 March 2008 through 27 March 2009 Option Year 7 28 March 2009 through 27 March 2010, (to include a 6 month bridge (extension period) to allow for re-procurement.)
