- Description
- The U.S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals for the East Truck Parking Lot Repair Phase II project at 17500 Oakwood, Allen Park, Michigan - Detroit BMC. This project will primarily involve replacement of the original concrete grade slab (approximately 187,000 square feet) along with associated subgrade preparation at the east side truck parking lot. Minority owned and Women-owned Business participation is encouraged. Construction cost range: $1,800,000 to 2,000,000. Construction completion time will be 100 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. In addition to price, an evaluation criteria will be considered. The contractor will be scored and ranked by the following factors. Past Performance (up to 50 points); contractor will be scored on the information submitted that adequately demonstrates successful completion of projects of a similar scope and magnitude as that of the proposed work. Project Management Plan/Approach; five factors will be totaled to the potential of (50 points),the project schedule (10 points), proposed project team and company organization (10 points), owned equipment (10 points), quality control plan/team (10 points), and experience modification ratio (EMR) (10 points). Financial Capability will be (Pass/Fail). A pre-proposal conference will be held on June 29. 2007 at 17500 Oakwood, Allen Park, Michigan - Detroit BMC 1:00 p.m. EST. Proposal due date is Friday, July 20, 2007 by 3:00 p.m. CST. Solicitation documents will be available on or about June 20, 2007 and will be provided as requested for a non-refundable cost of up to $175.00. The preferred method of payment for the solicitation documents is by credit card. LDI will accept Master Card, Visa, or AMEX. Orders may also be pre-paid by Corporate or Personal Check written to LDI Reproprinting Center (DO NOT ISSUE THE CHECK TO THE U.S.POSTAL SERVICE). You may upgrade to overnight service, USPS Express Mail at an additional cost. There will be no public opening of offers. All proposal information received is CONFIDENTAL until award of a contract. The name of the successful offeror and the amount will be released as public information. The number of offerors, their names and the amount of their offers WILL NOT BE RELEASED AS PUBLIC INFORMATION.
