Description

Statement of Work. U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Statement of Work 7/23/07 Background The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has a requirement in both Headquarter buildings to install automatic door openers on various floors. The NRC White Flint Complex (WFC) is located at: 11545 & 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD 20852-2738 Objective The objective of this project is to have a professional door service purchase material and supply the labor to perform the following work. Scope of Work Furnish and install fifteen (15) Horton 7000 automatic operators or equal on existing doors complete with aluminum finish, fifteen (15) electric strike, fifteen (15) time delay, thirty (30) push-button switches and on/off switch for electric strike. All work to be performed after normal working hours. Electrical power 120v will be provided by the NRC. All work must be coordinated with the Project Officer and scheduled between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Monday through Friday, with the exception of weekend work 7:00 am through 3:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. Contractor shall install one (1) automatic opener on the following floors. The exact location will be provided by the government. OWFN building (solid core wood doors) floors: 2,4,7,9,10,14,16,17 and 18. TWFN building (frameless glass doors) floors: 4,5,6,7,8 and 9.
