- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to purchase the following Sun Microsystems items on a specific make and model basis: Item 1, a quantity of (150), Sun Ray 2 Client, 1600 x 1200 max resolution, 2 USB Ports, 1 Serial Port, RoHS-6 compliant. Type 7 USB country kit not included P/N: NTC-10Z-00. Item 2, a quantity of (150), Sun Ray 2 upgrade to 5 years of Next Business Day Hardware only support P/N: W9D-NTC10Z-ND-5H. Item 3, a quantity of (150), Sun Ray Software 410/06 SING LE SEAT RIGHT TO USE LICENSE ONLY, allows use of 1 Sun Ray thin client on any combination of servers on any operating system. Media kit and software download sold separately, P/N CECI9-410C992S. Item 4, a quantity of (150) Sun Ray Software 4, SINGLE SEAT license, premium support, allows use of 1 Sun Ray Thin client on any combination of servers on any operating system. 3 years premium support, P/N: CECI9-C992-3PR. Item 5, a quantity of (175), Type 7 Unix Country Kit, RoHS-6 (Lead Free) Compliant, P/N: X3738A. The items quoted must be the make and model specified; substitutes are not acceptable. Items are required to duplicate existing facility suites. Quotes will only be accepted from authorized Sun distributors with valid documentation of their resale agreement. These items will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12.5 and FAR Part 13. The closing date will be 15 August 2007 with an anticipated award date of 22 August 2007. All items will be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delive ry shall be within 30 days after receipt of order. The GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE.
