Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) webpage located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. In accord with FAR 6.302-1, the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to solicit Concurrent Computer Corporation located at 4375 River Green Pkwy #101, Duluth, GA 30096-2572, on a sole source basis for a quantity of 1 each PN W-RHL-DEV-05 RedHawk 5-user Development Package and a quantity of 1 each PN W-RHL-S0 RedHawk Annual Development Package Support which provides the following annual support for a RedHawk Linux Professional Development Package: One year of RedHawk and NightStar technical support via email, web and toll-free telephone beginning at Development Package delivery. Downloadable updates and patches for the RedHawk kernel and NightStar tools. RedHawk and NightStar new releases as available. Concurrent is the manufacturer of this software which is proprietary. The Ballistic Missile Defense Signal Processor (BSP) for the AN/SPY-1B/D Radar supports the Baseline 4.0.1 Aegis Weapon System. Part of the code residing within the BSP Engineering Development Model (EDM), the Radar Control Processor (RCP) software will be re-hosted. An IBM BladeCenter System has been chosen as the re-host hardware. It is critical that NSWCDD use this hardware system to properly and accurately certify the combat system code. The software specified above is the operating system software for this hardware. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The NAICS C ode is 334111 and has a small business size standard of 1000. The FSC Code is 7010. Pricing will be F.O.B. Destination to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 6220 Tisdale Road, Ste 159, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Therefore, the quote must include all applicable shipping charges. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The closing date is 17 August 2007, 2:00 PM EST. Anticipated award date is 22 August 2007. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at DLGR_NSWC_XDS13@navy.mil, but the quote may also be faxed to 540/653-6810 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS13-14, 17632 Dahlgren Road, Ste 157, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5110. In order to be eligible for award, the offeror must be determined to be responsible in accordance with FAR 9.104-1 and must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
