- Request For Proposals, NAR070123, Vault Toilet Pumping : Furnish equipment, labor, and supplies to pump vault toilets and dispose of the collected effluent from twelve sites in the Imperial Sand Dunes (Imperial County, California), one L.T.V.A. site (Imperial County, California) and two sites in McCain Valley (San Diego County, California). Disposal of effluent must occur at an approved facility and be performed in accordance with Federal, State, and local regulations. Each vault must be thoroughly pumped and washed down to assure removal of all effluent (human wastes) and household debris. After pumping and wash down is complete, each vault must be refilled with a minimum of 6" of clean water. The amount of water required varies from 60 to 100 gallons as vaults of differing shapes are involved. Any effluent spilled must be immediately and thoroughly removed, disposed of and the area of spill be left clean. Disposal of all material removed must be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations. Vaults range in size from 675 to 1,100 gallons and would be expected to be 50% full to full. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 561720. Size standard is $15 million. Proposals are due August 28, 2007 by 2:00 PM Denver Local Time.
