- The Government intends to make a Sole Source award to BD Biosciences for 20 Human TH1-TH2 Cytokin CBA Reagent Kits in support of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. These reagent kits are needed to support ongoing clinical trials for the deng ue tetravalent vaccine project. These kits contain unique proprietary material that is simply put antibody conjugated beads. BD Biosciences is the only source for this product and have a proprietary license for this product. These studies are conducted under strict GLP conditions and, therefore, no other other reagents can be supplemented in the middle of the study. It would cause previously collected data to be void. If you believe you can supply the exact product requested please contact Ms. Thea Hofgesang via email at thea.hofgesang@amedd.army.mil by 24 August 2007. Award will be made 27 August 2007.
