- Technical Questions: Mr. Leslie Zuniga, 912-652-5418 Contractual Questions: Mrs. Elizabeth Funk, 912-652-5173 NOTE: This project will be solicited and procured using a best value Performance Price Trade-off Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-1. This solicitation is issued on an 8(a) competitive restrict ed basis pursuant to the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988 (Public Law 100-656) under NAICS 236220. Description of work: Construct an airman dormitory facility of approximately 46,800 square feet. The buildings are multi-story with the primary structural component of precast autoclaved aerated concrete (PAACC) with masonry exterior finish and concrete foundations and floor slabs and standing seam metal roofs. Site development includes force protection systems, utilities, parking, access road and site improvements. The air conditioning is approximately 345 tons and includes a ground-coupled (geothermal) system. Options may be included in the contract. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $20,000,000.00 N etwork Analysis will be required. Contractors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. After completing CCR, in order to download specifications and drawings contractors and their subcontractors must register at Federal Technical Data System (FedTeDS) at www.fedteds.gov. In order to locate solicitation Contractors can go to FedBizOpps and search for the solicitation number at www.fedbizopps.gov. Contractors can register to be put on a plan holders list that others can ac cess through the FedBizOpps site. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 24 August 2007. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
