Description

This is a notice of intent to issue a purchase order to a SDVOSB (Andersen Schoel Office Interiors; 400 E Central Texas Expressway, Ste 2; Harker Heights, TX 76548) on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-5, Authorized or required by statute, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(5) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(5). The proposed procurement is for the reconfiguration of existing work stations and the additional purchase of furniture/work stations to match existing d?cor (additional items need to be compatible with the existing). This procurement is Subject to Availability of Funds (SAF). Interested persons need to identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement 13 August 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 442110. The associated small business size standard is $6.5M. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Andersen Schoel Office Interiors the only known local source that h as completed previous phases within the Housing Office, has existing measurements of furniture pieces previously installed, and is familiar with the Housing Operations.
