Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3B3SF7199A002. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18 and DFARS Change Notice 20070531. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 339113. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Item Description: - The DS-180 (DEFENSHEILD INC.) or equal: 7.62mm NATO bullet, blast, and fragment resistant mobile partition. Provide head-to-toe, full vision, mobile coverage for individuals and teams. Meets NIJ Level III specification for resistance to rifle rounds up to the 7.62mm NAT round. Large viewing area, up to 12 square feet. Size up to 48" x 84". The Defenshield 180 is the tool of choice when protection against rifle threat s from 5.56mm and 7.62mm NATO rounds is required. The DS-180 series is certified by HP White Labs to NIJ Level III and the US Department of State standard DS-STD-01.01.The DS-180 is equipped with lag plates for stability. Mobility options include casters or ATV-style tires (see DS-181 or DS-182 respectively). Units deploy instantly, for security when and where it's needed, including immediate hardening of internal and external ECP's. - Qty:4 - Price to include shipping to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002 - IAW FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offerors, the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the government. The government reserves the right to make award to other than the low bidder. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
