Description
Provide 1 each Air Handling Unit based on specifications of the contract. The air handling unit shall be of the end to end unit configuration. The supply air side shall include a plenum fan arranged for blow-thru application, filter bank, hot water heating coil, chilled water coil, and refrigerant coil cooler. Total unit housing shall be double wall construction with 2"rigid hardboard insulation. Any exposed insulation will not be acceptable. Housing to be water/weather tight and must have independent laboratory testing and certification of results in writing. Provide 1 each Condensing Unit, Air Cooled 6 to 120 tons (21 TO 422 kW) as per specifications of the contract. Unit to be factory assembled and tested, air cooled; consisting of casing, two compressors, two condenser coils, condenser fans and motors, and unit controls. (Two separate circuits) Compressor: Hermetic or semi-hermetic compressor designed for service with crankcase sight glass, crankcase heater, and back seating service access valves on suction and discharge ports. Capacity Control: Hot-gas bypass Condenser Coil: Seamless copper-tube, aluminum-fin coil, including sub-cooling circuit and back-seating liquid-line service access valve. Factory pressure test coils, then dehydrate by drawing a vacuum and fill with a holding charge of nitrogen or refrigerant. Condenser Fans: Propeller-type vertical discharge; either directly or belt driven. Include the following: 1. Permanently lubricated ball-bearing motors 2. Separate motor for each fan 3. Dynamically and statically balanced fan assemblies - Operating and safety controls include the following: Manual-reset, high-pressure cutout switches, automatic-reset, low-pressure cutout switches, low oil pressure cutout switch, compressor-winding thermostat cutout switch, three-leg, compressor-overload protection, control transformer, magnetic contactors for compressor and condenser fan motors, and timer to prevent excessive compressor cycling. Accessories include: Low Ambient Controller: Controls condenser fan speed to permit operation down to minus 20 deg F (minus 29 deg C) [with time-delay relay to bypass low-pressure switch], Gage Panel: Package with refrigerant circuit suction and discharge gages, Hot-gas bypass kit, Part-winding-start timing relay, circuit breakers, and contactors. Also Provide one each Exhaust Fan as per the terms, conditions, and specifications of the contract. The issue date will be O/A 08-25-2007 - BOD in O/A 09-10-2007. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial item procurement in accordance with part 12 and in accordance with Far Part 15, Contracting by negotiation.
