Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs has a requirement for preventative maintenance on Siemens System 600 Energy Management System located throughout Veterans Affairs Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) Martinez campus, buildings 19, 20, 21, Martinez, CA. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, tools, equipment, software, firmware, and supervision to clean, inspect, test, adjust, calibrate, diagnose, repair, and maintain all items on the "List of Maintained Equipment" for the Siemens System 600 Energy Management System at the above location. The contractor shall maintain all computer software programs on the Energy Management System computer. The contractor will offer 16 hours of off-site diagnostic services. The contractor, from his facility, must be able to access the system via modem control to perform system evaluation and operation as part of this contract. All software shall be updated on an annual basis during the contract period. The update shall include the latest revisions of INSIGHT, which is available for the Siemens 600 Energy Management System. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only and the SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. If there are enough responses of interest to this notice the solicitation will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Concerns or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310. The size standard for this NAICS code is $6.5 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year with four (4) option years, if exercised. The approximate solicitation release date is on or about August 21, 2007. The solicitation will be available solely through FedBizOpps. The RFP will be issued under solicitation number VA-261-07-RP-0183. The solicitation and any related documents for this procurement will be made available to interested parties through electronic media for downloading via the internet at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) www.fedbizopps.gov. All interested parties must have a Dun and Bradstreet Number, Federal Identification Number (FID), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and registered in the Veteran Information Pages at www.VETBIZ.GOV.
