- SIR Description: This a small business set-aside The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area, Los Angeles, CA has a requirement to renovate seven (7) bathrooms at the ZOA, Air route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC). Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment and services to renovate bathrooms. The bathrooms include women & men restrooms located on the main floor, men and women administration wing first floor, men and women located on the second floor of the administration wing and the men located in the administration wing second floor conference room. Work includes but is not limited to the following: ??? Abatement of lead contained ceramic wall tiles ??? Demolition of existing ceramic tiled floors ??? Demolition of existing plumbing and associated fixtures, Sinks, toilet partitions, cabinets, etc. ??? Abatement of ACM piping insulation ??? Demolition/relocation of existing electrical, lighting, and Fire alarm system. ??? Installation of new plumbing, plumbing fixtures, sinks, toilets Partitions, shower enclosure, cabinets, etc. ??? Installation of new tiled floors and walls ??? Installation of new lighting and re-installation of existing electrical and fire alarm systems. Contract Performance Period: 160days NAICS code: 235110 Estimated Price Range: $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 Awards will be based on best value to FAA considering total costs to FAA, past performance/experience, Technical capabilities and cost realism. The contractor must have successfully completed similar projects both in dollar and scope This notice is for information purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. The DOT Bonding assistance Program is currently being revised. Please contact the OSDBU at the number below for details. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
