- Solicitation AG-4870-S-07-0010 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). RFQs should be submitted in writing, email, or fax. The synopsis will run for 5 days beginning August 10, 2007. The solicitation will be posted to FBO beginning Tuesday, August 15, 2007 and run until Friday, August 31, 2007. This acquisition is for services. Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area (NRA) is a designated National Recreation Area under the management of USDA Forest Service. This solicitation will for the acquisition of 30-yard roll off dumpster services. Offeror will be required to deliver, leave, and remove dumpster at various locations at LBL. Offeror will be responsible for deposing of refuse. The contract is being issued with base year performance running from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. This contract will have four, one-year options available. This solicitation is being set aside 100% for small business. Offers must be received at the Administrative Office, USDA Forest Service, Land Between The Lakes NRA, 100 Van Morgan Drive, Golden Pond, KY 42211 no later than 4:30 PM CDT on Friday, August 31, 2007. The government anticipates award on or about September 10, 2007. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best value to the government (price and other factors considered). The award will be made to the technically qualified low offeror.
