- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is to secure services for non-commercial thinning of conifer trees and treatment of the resulting slash on selected areas on the Heppner Ranger District of the Umatilla National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals to perform all work specified herein. Work areas are located on the Heppner Ranger District, Umatilla National Forest vicinity maps showing project location and access, and other information regarding specific items will be contained in the Detailed Unit Information Sheet. Work shall be completed by November 30, 2007. All work areas may be reached by Forest roads that are accessible by standard two-wheel drive pickup trucks during normal operating seasons. The solicitation for this project will be posted to FedBizOps on or about August 24, 2007 with quotes due on September 10, 2007.
