Description: THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEM FOR BEAR BIOMASS CHIPPING AND REMOVAL. SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED SIMULTANEOUSLY WITH THIS NOTICE. This contract requires slash pile chipping and removal of approximately 2000 tons. Included is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals nesessary to perform the work. The project is located in four (4) areas with one area being optional on the Payette National Forest. All areas are on the Council Ranger District. NAICS code: 115310. Size Standard: $6.5 million. Estimated start date is September 15, 2007 with completion by October 15, 2007. See numbered note #1.
