- Table Top Multi Granulator Solicitation No. 2007-4431-015 The USDA, ARS, Mid South Area, intends to procure a Table Top Multi Granulator equal to the LCI Corporation MG-55 Model Granulator. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 2007-4431-015 is being issued as an Invitation for Bid. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. Offerors are to provide a bid for the following: SPECIFICATIONS: Our application needs call for a versatile, bench-top granulator with the following minimum specifications: ? Multiple extrusion configurations?axial, radial, dome, and/or basket. ? Stainless steel 304/316 (GMP Design)?Wetted parts of 316 ss ? Minimum 20 kg/hr extrusion rate. ? Minimum batch size: 100 - 200 g ? Granule diameter range: 0.6 ? 8.0 mm ? Motor: 1 hp or greater with 230 VAC/60/3 variable speed ? Portable and compact footprint; fits on top of a bench-top. ? Single or dual screw extruder design ? Shaft speed: controllable; 0 ? 90 rpm (or greater) ? Comes with an assortment of dies and availability of optional dies ? Separate Control Panel ? Control Panel Features: ?X Touch Screen ?X alarms ?X screw speed and amperage readout ?X Control screw speed ?X start/stop ?X USB port for data transfer ? Sanitary clamps for quick assembly/disassembly/cleaning (requires no tools for these actions) Equipment Line Items: UNIT NO. Bid prices shall include all necessary labor, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to delivered FOB Destination a Table Top Multi Granulator to USDA, ARS, 59 Lee Road., Stoneville, MS 38756. This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text.
