- Restrictions: Modification 01: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Construction Quality Assurance Services - Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in t his notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W91248-07-Q-0071 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and inc orporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18, dated 05 July 07. NAICS is 541990; business size is $6.5M; acquisition is 100% set-aside for Hubzone Small Business Concerns. Description of Items Requested : Modification 01: This combined synopsis/solicitation is modified as follows: Closing date and time remains unchanged as 10 August 2007, 2:00 PM CST. The following questions and answers pertain to this solicitation. Question 1. Will the gov't provide a vehicle for the reps. while on base or does the contractor provide their own? Answer 1. Contractor shall be responsible for providing his own transportation. Question 2. What are the off-site office requirements? Is an actual business office locatio n (storefront) necessary or may employees work from a home office? Answer 2. The government does not require an office location for accessibility to the contractors (i.e. storefront), home office conditions would be acceptable; however, any face-to-face interaction with the contractors shall occur on post. Reference evaluation factors, technical acceptability will be based on resume being technical acceptable and not the FIRM . All responsible concerns may submit a quote that will be considered by this agency. It is contemplated that Period of Performance will be one 12-Month Base Period and Two (2) 12- Month Option Periods.
