- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. USDA, Forest Service, Hoosier National Forest has a requirement for a security contractor to provide labor, services, material and equipment necessary to install security camera systems in four different locations on the Hoosier NF. The work will include the procurement of all needed equipment and installation services, such as digital recorders, cameras, power supplies, cabling, transformers and will also include trenching and installation of an underground conduit at one of the locations. Project locations: Bedford Office Site, Bedford, Indiana, Hardin Ridge Recreation Admin Site, Monroe County, Indiana, Tell City Ranger District Admin Site, Tell City, Indiana, and Rickenbaugh Historic Site. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and 75,000. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to the Service Contract Act. Current wage determination is: 2005-2183, Rev. 4 dated 5/29/07 for Lawrence and Monroe Counties and number 2005-2187, Rev. 3 dated 5/29/07 for Perry County. The award will be a small business set-aside. The requirement will be awarded as a fixed price contract, a single award is anticipated. Solicitation number: AG-52B1-S-07-3063 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). NAICS: 561621, Size Standard: $11.5M. Performance Period: 60 days after award and issuance of the Notice to Proceed.
