- Description
- The Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting intends to release a solicitation for packing/containerization and drayage of personal property services in the vicinity of Fort Bragg, NC. Contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, facilities, suppli es, services and materials for the packing, unpacking, containerization, drayage and storage of household goods and personal property for military members and civilian employees at Fort Bragg and Pope AFB, NC. The requirement consists of outbound and inbou nd household goods, outbound and inbound unaccompanied baggage, intra-city and intra-area movement. Services to be performed under Schedule I Outbound Services, Schedule II Inbound Services and Schedule III Intra-City and Intra-Area Move will encompa ss two areas: Area I, Fort Bragg, and Area II, Pope AFB. Quantities stated in the solicitation are estimated. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15. This procurement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Contract with a base year beginning 1 July 2007 through 30 June 2008, with four (4) one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code fo r this acquisition is 488991. The small business size standard is $23.5M. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP), W91247-07-R-0004, on or about 16 March 2007 with a tentative closing date of 02 April 2007. The Government may ele ct to award multiple awards to two or more sources under this solicitation. NOTE: THIS SOLICITATION REPLACES SOLICITATION W91247-06-R-0034 ISSUED 13 JUNE 2006, DUE TO AN INADVERTENT DELETION FROM ASFI. RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS RECEIVED PREVIOUSLY FROM PRO SPECTIVE CONTRACTORS AGAINST W91247-06-R-0034 WILL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE NEW SOLICITATION, IF APPLICABLE, OR ANSWERED IN AN AMENDMENT AGAINST THE NEW SOLICITATION. The RFP and amendment will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Indu stry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. Offerors must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line at www.bpn.gov prior to submitting an offer.
