Description
The Air Combat Electronics Group (PMA-209) of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland intends to issue an order under a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA), N00421-06-G-0006, with Rockwell Collins, Government Services, 350 Collins Road, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52498. This BOA order will be negotiated on a Sole Source basis with Rockwell Collins, Government Services, in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rockwell Collins is the original software and hardware designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the CDU-7000 based Common Cockpit System (CCS) currently being developed and tested in the C-2A and E-2C aircraft. This order is a continuation of the effort procured under N00421-04-D-0082 Delivery Order 2. That Delivery Order completed the engineering effort through and including the Test Readiness Review phase for the CCS architecture for the C-2A and E-2C aircraft, leveraging from previous CDU-7000 development efforts. This new order will require the implementation of software corrections as well as Formal Qualification Testing of the corrected software. The order calls for the development of source data for training materials which will require access to the proprietary data that comprises that CCS hardware and software documentation. The order also calls for the delivery of CCS B Kit hardware for application in various Integration Laboratories and training facilities.
