- Description
- The Government intends to procure under full and open competition forklift batteries in support of the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, VA. The proposed requirement will be awarded under a Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 335911. Potential offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation will only be available on or around August 10, 2007 by downloading the documents at http://www.neco.navy.mil or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award.
