Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the intention of the Bureau of Land Management to award a purchase order for 3 each of the Rough Rider Model RR1210 Rangeland Drills to Truax Company of New Hope, MN for the following Request for Quotation (RFQ) #: HAQ074386 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. NAICS code 333111; size standard of less than 500 employees, Salient Features: a) Three individually metered seed boxes for different types of seeds including large fluffy seeds, shallow planting, no-till and inter-seeding capabilities; b) Hydraulic systems to transfer the machine weight to the disc openers for enhanced ground penetration; c) Heavy duty rangeland drill for seeding uneven, rough and sometimes rocky terrain; d) Drill must have high clearance and reinforced frame; and e) Each drill disc assembly needs to work independently; stand up to the rigors of rugged site conditions and plant a variety of seed types simultaneously at shallow depths in an undisturbed seedbed. This action is BRAND NAME specific in accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6). This will be a firm-fixed-price contract with the Bureau of Land Management, Oregon State Office, Multnomah County, Oregon. PURCHASE, DELIVERY and UNLOADING of three (3) TRUAX Rangeland No-Till Rough Rider Model: RR-1210 Rangeland Drills: Item 1) Rangeland Drill, Model: RR-1210 basic model with no additional attachments with the SHIPPING ADDRESS of Bureau of Land Management Warehouse, 100 Oregon St, Vale, OR 97918. Item 2) Rangeland Drill, Model: RR-1210 basic model with no additional attachments with the SHIPPING ADDRESS SHIPPING ADDRESS of Bureau of Land Management, Lakeview District Office, Lakeview, OR 97630. Item 3) Rangeland Drill, Model: RR1210 with five (5) Brillion impactors additional attachments with the SHIPPING ADDRESS of Bureau of Land Management, Idaho Falls District office, 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, ill 83401-2100. Delivery date is estimated 90 days after purchase order award.
