- Solicitation Number: W9124R-07-T-1101 Response Date: 13 August 2007, 12:00 PM MST This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) PART 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with add itional information included in this notice. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18, Effective 30 June 2007 Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Suppl ement (DFARs) current to DCN 20070531 edition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) applicable to this acqu isition is 334220. All prospective offerors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. Offerors may register online at https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html Quotes are being solicited for the following item: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, Quantity: 1, Unit of Issue: Each, Description: Overhead Scoring Camera System The resultant contract will be firm fixed price. See website http://www.yuma.army.mil/contracting/index.html for specifications and evaluation criteria. Offerors are required to submit adequate information to demonstrate that the product offered meets or e xceeds all requirements of the specifications. All quotes shall include shipping costs to U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Yuma, AZ 85365. All quotes shall be clearly marked with solicitation #W9124R-07-T-1101 and emailed to the point of contact listed below or sent by facsimile to (928) 328-6849 no later than 13 August 2007, 12:00PM MST. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on tec hnical capability and price. Award will be made on a best value basis and the Government reserves the right to award to other than the low offeror. FAR 52.212-2 is completed as follows: i) Technical Capability and ii) Price. Technical Capability is signifi cantly more important than price. Proposals with unreasonable prices will not be considered for technical evaluations. Price will then be evaluated for offerors whose technical proposals have been determined acceptable. Unreasonable prices can make the mo st meritorious technical proposal not the best value. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or technical information as required by FAR Clause 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration.
